Requests

If you’ve been quoted less for the same job somewhere else in New Zealand, send it to us. We’ll look at what you’ve been offered, compare it properly against what we’d produce, and come back to you, usually within one business day.

Two things worth being straight about. We don’t promise to beat every price, and we won’t pretend two quotes are the same job when they aren’t. What we will do is tell you honestly what the difference is, whether that’s the stock, the finishing, the turnaround, or simply that someone is cheaper than us on that particular run.

What we need

To compare fairly, we need to be comparing the same work. Send us a written quote that shows:

• A New Zealand printer, quoted in New Zealand dollars.
• A quote date within the last 14 days.
• The same quantity and the same finished size.
• The same stock type and weight, printed on the same number of sides.
• The same finishing, including lamination, folding, creasing, drilling and numbering.
• The same turnaround. A ten day job and a two day job are not the same product.

An emailed quote, a PDF or a clear screenshot is all fine. We just need to be able to see what was actually quoted.

What we can’t match

• Clearance and closing-down pricing. One-off stock clearances aren’t a sustainable price for anyone.
• Member, trade-only and introductory offers. Including first-order discounts and promo code pricing.
• Overseas printers. We print in Auckland, and the freight, timeline and recourse aren’t comparable.
• Marketplace and auction listings. We need a quote from the printer producing the work.
• Verbal quotes. If it isn’t in writing, we’ve got nothing to compare.
• Anything below our cost. Occasionally a competitor is genuinely cheaper on a job. We’ll tell you when that’s the case rather than take work at a loss.

How it works

1. Configure your job on the product page so we can see the exact specification you’re pricing.
2. Use the price match link under the calculator, tell us who quoted you and what they quoted, and attach the quote itself. A PDF, photo or screenshot is all fine, we just need to see the specification.
3. We review it and email you either way. If we can do something on the price, you’ll get an updated quote link you can order from directly.

The fine print

Price match requests are assessed one at a time and at our discretion. We may decline a request, and we’ll say so plainly rather than let it go quiet. Any price we agree applies to that job at that specification and quantity, holds for 14 days, and can’t be combined with promo codes, account pricing or other discounts. One request per job. Requests need to be made before you order, not after.

Freight is quoted separately and isn’t part of a price match. Neither is artwork, data work or anything else outside the printing itself.
